This weeks Weekly Photo Challenge was black and white. I decided to take a photo of an old looking clock because when I think of black and white photos, I think of them being old. Because this clock is old looking I thought that it would be a good object for black and white photos.
This picture of a Jasmine Plant was taken for the reflections weekly photo challenge. I decided to use this photo because you can clearly see the leaves in the water. I think that the brick pattern underneath the plant makes it really unique. The photo follows the rule of thirds because where the plant meets the ground is the bottom line of the grid and the actual plant is slightly off to the left. This picture was part of the Weekly Photo Challenge "Rainbows". For the rainbow photo challenge, the pictures had to incorporate the seven colours of the rainbow, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. I decided to use music notes because playing the piano is definitely one of my favourite things to do. I have been playing the piano for many years and thought that this picture would incorporate a part of my life into it. This is a Yellow Tuberous Begonia. They grow best in partial shade and filtered sunlight. Too much sunlight could result in burnt leaves. Tuberous Begonias come in many different colours such as pink, yellow, orange and red. This is one of the few flowers with a definite front and back. I took this picture because of its light yellow colour and unique leaves. |
