This photo was a recreation of one of Harold Edgerton's photos. Sebastian and I did it for our famous photographer project. In his original photo, he used a stroboscope to capture the spoke that came out of the gun. We obviously didn't have a stroboscope so we tried using a fast shutter speed. We were able to capture some of the smoke however more smoke was photoshopped in (Sebastian told the class and I was so mad!).
This was our second creation of Harold Edgerton's photos. In this one we were trying to capture the moment when the ball deflects off the tennis racket. In the original photo, you can see the impact the racket makes on the ball. Because we didn't have a stroboscope, we were unable to get a shutter speed that fast, however i'm pleased with how our photo turned out.
